Main Bearings

These are the main bearings removed from the crankcase

in this case thewy supplied 'S' type which meant i had to flip out the 'S'ealing cap on one side before use with a screwdriver (the vire needs unsealed bearings to allow the fuel/oil to lubricate the bearings when running.. . you can pay twice as much for stainless, but i dont think it is neccesary unless you are building it to last more than 10 years service.

you will need 2 seals and 2 bearings

I supply all seals and bearings, both std and stainless upgrade which are ready to fit into the Vire with the modifications done.

WARNING - ensure that you dont ruin the crank alignement by stressing the big end bearing while changin bearings - support just the one web side you are doing with straps so you dont bend the webs together.
